After smoking cigars for almost 20 years, I was pleased to find out that the electronic cigarette industry has designed something for cigar smokers! I ordered the Cohita D1500 after a quick call to the customer service number to answer a couple final questions I had. The experience with them was pleasant.

When the cigar arrived, I wasn't sure what to do. It came without any instructions. After another quick call to customer service, I was informed that I just had to remove the white rubber plug in the end, and start puffing.

At first I was disappointed. It seemed only like water vapor. There was plenty of it, but there wasn't any flavor beyond that. I brought it with when I drove to and from work, and continued to evaluate it. At some point the second or third day of trying I tasted the flavor! The flavor did remind me of tobacco! There was plenty of vapor, and the mix of the flavor did resemble a cigar.

I got called into work after hours one Saturday, and I decided to do a comparison. I smoked a real cigar on the drive to work, and the Cohita D1500 on the way home. I really enjoyed both. I would compare the difference between them to the difference between a Diet Coke and a regular Coke. They resemble each other, but you can tell the difference. And you can get used to it if you want to make the jump.

I'm starting to lose vapor at this point. There is still plenty of flavor, but I'm lacking vapor, so the experience is less satisfying. I also don't think I'm anywhere near 1500 puffs. The end still lights up, and there is still some vapor, but not near as when I first started on this disposable electronic cigar.

I've enjoyed this enough that I'm probably going to make the jump to a re-usable/re-chargeable electronic cigar. I would recommend trying a disposable to see what it's like before making the jump.

Very impressed with the smoking experience. I miss my cigars during the winter an the Cohita nicely replaces the need. Shipping was extremely fast and email communication is very good. My wife is going to order a cigarette kit. Just finished a glass of port and a long smoke. I'm delighted. Thank you.

First time I ever try one of those electronic devices intended to replace cigarettes. Super fast shipping! The Cohita D-1500 tastes better than expected. However the taste does not linger on my palate. I very seldomly smoke cigars, so I will not compare it to the real thing. It does taste better than a cigarette though. I find it offers a low vapor production. I am concerned that the manufacturing date is not indicated on the box. The battery remains strong for 5 years, but I don't know how old the device is. I also enjoy the feel of the tip of the "cigar" which I bite by the way. In conclusion it works. For the 1st time in years... I haven't smoked today.

I have been smoking cigars for about 20 years. After reading the reviews, I had high expectations for this electronic cigar. I was somewhat disappointed. This in no way tastes or smells like tobacco and the plastic wrapper comes off on the tip after putting it in your mouth a few times. The only good things I can say about it is that it very much resembles the effect of smoking (taking puffs, blowing smoke out, etc) and the way the tip lights up red when you take a puff. However, those of us who choose to smoke cigars (rather than cigarettes) do it mainly for the taste and aroma. Two things this does not imitate.

If you are a cigar smoker you must give this a try! This was my second order with ePuffer; again great email communications. Order arrived quickly; placed @ 10:30 PM 1-11-12 & received in mail on 1-14-12 (State of PA); packaged very well. My father was correct, the Cohita D-1500 does look similar to a real cigar; the body "wrap" has the look & feel of real tobacco leaf. The "made-to-look red-hot" "ash" end is a nice touch; it glows "red-hot" when puffed making it that much more realistic. The "smoke" (vapor) is plentiful and very satisfying. The slight flavor is mild & not offensive; quite pleasant. My son tells me it has a slight hint of a chocolate smell when exhaled; I don't smell chocolate though. Overall this is quite an amazing product. You truly get the feeling & satisfaction of puffing & enjoying a real cigar. I am hooked!

First time customer. Ordered this Christmas 2011 as a gift for my father. He was telling me about how a buddy of his had one and told him about it. Order placed online with no issues. Excellent email communications with tracking number provided. Order arrived quickly and safely. My father was extremely surprised and happy. He absolutely loves the Cohita D-1500. He tells me it looks like a real cigar and the tip even glows when puffed. He tells me the taste and draw is satisfying and the lack of offensive "cigar smoke smell" is great; my mom even lets him smoke this in the house! He is so pleased that he will be ordering a different model that can be refilled; I believe that he is hooked on this delightful way to enjoy cigars. He was so convincing that I just placed an order for one myself yesterday; in addition I also decided to order the COLIBRI NANO Electronic Cigarette to see what that is like. I will write separate reviews of my own experience with this and the e-cig once I receive them.

What a great improvement over the old 1800 series. This one has a smooth draw, no leaking and huge vapor production. Love the taste and the looks is amazing! I also like the idea of glowing tip, that looks like ash. I've been smoking this thing for 3 hours while playing poker, and at some point totally forgot that it was not a real thing ;)
